* Currently NOT Available! We will be running an open class only until students have developed enough experience to run multiple level classes.

Beginner Level 2 Classes run for 3 * 6 week terms following the Beginner Level 1 Course. These classes are suitable for beginner and intermediate level dancers with under 6-7 months close embrace dancing experience.

Classes will focus on revision of Level 1 concepts as well as introducing the ocho cortado, half giros and other basic patterns essential for navigation & floorcraft.

It is expected students will attend at LEAST 3 * 6 week beginner level 2 courses before being able to attend intermediate classes. In each cycle of 6 weeks, different material will be covered, allowing new students completing Beginner Level 1 to join at the beginning of any 6 week cycle.

Often students will find it beneficial to remain at this level until they are confident to dance all the material socially. It is far more useful to dance a few steps well than rush to learn many steps badly or that are soon forgotten. Practice is very important to cement concepts in your body & we highly recommend getting out on the social dance floor as much as possible.

Also introducing basic Milonga and Vals rhythms and combinations.
