Learn to dance the Argentine Tango as they do it in Buenos Aires!
Tango is an expression of feeling, connection, music and creativity.

Tango Encanto provides Argentine Tango group classes, private lessons, performances, milongas and social events across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Inner West. We currently run classes in Paddington, Bondi Junction & Leichhardt.

Argentine Tango is a social dance that can be danced by anyone, at any age or level of physical ability.

Social tango as danced in Buenos Aires (the home of the tango) does not require complicated figures or patterns. Tango consists of an infinite number of possible steps and combinations to the music but only a few, danced well, are needed to navigate the floor and provide a memorable dance for you and your partner.

Tango Encanto classes focus on musicality, connection, techniques for leading & following, improvisation, navigation and dancing within a community of other dancers.

We have all had a wonderful enriching time over here at the Milongueando festival in Buenos Aires. It is certainly like no other tango festival I know and has reminded me why I dance the tango. It has been a privilege to meet & dance with so many like minded people. I only hope I can bring back & transmit a fraction of what I have learned and experienced here. It has also been fantastic to see Raul and many others from la Academia again….
